MIMA I GIRL WITH THE PEARL
Since 1902, this dreamy girl has hung in the beautiful Mauritshuis in The Hague. No one knows what name she may have once borne. Maybe she only lived in Johannes Vermeer's fantasy world?
So what we do know is that this Girl with a Pearl Earring has conquered the world with her blushing look. The background was once pine green, but the now deep black contrasts quite nicely next to her white collar and shiny glass earring.
